Description
To begin the preservation process, the gown is checked thoroughly for stains. Beads and other trim are tested for cleanability. Then, the gown is carefully pre-spotted to remove any stains. The gown is then cleaned in a pure solvent and process dried. Once again the gown is checked and despotted if necessary. The gown is then post inspected insuring the preservation of the designer's lines and drape. After the cleaning process, the gown is carefully packaged in an acid-free box with a cotton-muslin liner. We also utilize acid-free tissue paper to cushion the folds of the gown.
